Brad Welsh

Brad currently works as a Media Assistant in the Office of the Prime Minister. Brad had previously worked as a Caseworker, Community Program Officer and then Manager of Child Protection and Out of Home Care with the NSW Department of Community Services.
 
Brad has previously completed degrees in both Welfare (Aboriginal Community Studies) from UWS and Law at UNSW. Brad study in law took him to Beijing to study Chinese law as a part of his degree in 2007. Brad is currently studying a Diploma in Legal Practice with the NSW College of Law which he is due to complete by June 2008. This degree will allow Brad to take a step closer in being admitted to the NSW Supreme court as a solicitor.
 
Brad is also strongly involved in his local community of Redfern where he is a Board of Director of Metropolitan Local Aboriginal Land Council and the Redfern All Blacks Football Club.
 
By far Brad notes his biggest achievement as being the father of three young girls who occupy any free time that comes up between everything else.
